The SEEKERS Sunday school class meets every Sunday at 10:00 AM following our contemporary service at 8:45 AM and before our traditional service at 11:00 AM.
We welcome all folks between the ages of 18-25, in college or not, to fellowship with us. The format of our class usually starts with a short 10-minute video from Rob Bell’s NOOMA series, followed by group discussion, and closing in prayer. Our teacher is Dr. Mark Pilgrim, a professor of biology at the College of Coastal Georgia.
Our class officers are:
President – Nikki Shupe
Vice-President – Justin Cox
Secretary – Andrea Wynn
Treasurer – Mitchell Tuttle
In addition to our Sunday school class, the SEEKERS are actively involved in helping the needy. We have recently sent Christmas packages to children in India and Africa through the Samaritan’s Purse program, Operation Christmas Child. We are currently preparing relief kits for those who were devastated in the recent earthquake in Haiti.
We have recently returned from a mission trip to New Orleans, where we worked with an organization called St. Bernard’s Project. During a week of our Christmas break, we traveled to the St. Bernard Parish of New Orleans, where we helped to restore homes damaged during Hurricane Katrina.
Pictures of our trip can be found on our Facebook page. To visit our Facebook page, click on the logo below, and we invite you to join our group to receive updates about our ministry.
