A Community of Love & Faith

Groups and Teams

The Church is not just for spectators. Connecting into the Body of Christ is so important. We offer many groups to help you connect. Groups break naturally into two types: Growing Groups and Serving Groups.

Growing groups blend learning together and supporting one another. We have classes for all ages on Sunday morning at 10 a.m. between our 8:45 and 11 a.m. worship services. These classes are a part of what we call “Sunday School.” The hallway that connects our Christian Life Center and our sanctuary contains the Sunday School classrooms.
All classes are open to visitors. Look in the windows of the classrooms. Ask people about them. Try out one or more classes and see which one fits you best. Other “growing” groups are offered on Sunday nights, and weekday mornings and nights. We offer short-term studies and long-term studies. There are also Men’s Ministries (UMM, United Methodist Men) and women’s Ministries (UMW, United Methodist Women) that people can join. We are always adding groups to meet the needs and interests of members.

Serving Groups blend fellowship and service. Choir and musical groups are offered for those who have such abilities. The local missions team and the evangelism team are also groups that bring people together to perform a service in the name of Christ.

Watch the left side of this page for links to our growing list of groups. In the meantime, click on Music, Children, Families, and Seniors for other opportunities to be “grouped” with others so that you can experience the Body of Christ more fully.
